Among the displays, our Puteh Murni stands as a beautiful fusion of cultural heritage and adaptive innovations to make it wearable and fashionable for all bodies. It is made from repurposed bedsheets, curtains and table runners that have been elevated into a versatile and elegant combination of a kurta with shoulder buttons and detachable sleeves for a quick summer switch, dhoti-styled pants with velcro side openings and a removable long vest.
Not only does Puteh Murni reflect the creative intersection of diversity in cultures and bodies as well as their importance in design spaces, but also demonstrates how unused fabrics can be given new life as a stylish and sustainable fashion set that can be worn in the long term and adjusted by preference.
